Counter-Strike is one of the best multiplayer games in the world. CS is a first-person shooter where players join either the terrorist or counter-terrorist team (or become a spectator). Each team in CS attempts to complete their mission objective and/or eliminate the opposing team. In Counter Strike, each round starts with the two teams spawning at the same time, at opposite ends of the map from each other. Every player can choose to play as one of eight different default character models (four for each side, although Counter-Strike: Condition Zero added two extra models, bringing the total to ten).

Counter Strike supports spectators that can observe the rest of the round from multiple selectable views, although some Counter Strike servers disable some of these views to prevent dead players from revealing information about players still on the game. This form of cheating in Counter Strike Servers is known as "ghosting".

The most known site for CS Servers is Counter-Strike.com that has been offering to users fast map download servers on their web hosting accounts with a single click. This is great for every Counter-Strike player out there. The CS game servers or Counter-Strike 1.6 game servers can be made by anyone, but it's more easy and convenient to play on most known servers.
